   The Leeds & the Thousand Islands Public Library is a corporation under the management and control of a board known as The Corporation of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Public Library Board, which operates under the authority of the Public Libraries Act, 1984, c57, S3., in accordance with the provisions of the Act and of the Regulations made under the Act and established under by-law no. 16-01 of the Corporation of the Township of the Leeds and the Thousand Islands.
