Township Parks

Parks  
The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands has many excellent Recreation and Leisure Facilities available for use by everyone. The Township offers a skateboard park, softball diamonds, tennis courts, basketball courts and pavilions that are available for a variety of public and private events and activities. 

Kendrick’s Parks

Located on Lower Beverly Lake, with access to the Rideau Canal. The park is on Shore Point Road off of Lyndhurst Road (County Road #33) in the picturesque village of Lyndhurst.  Unofficial baseball diamond, volleyball court, new playground equipment, three large pavilions for rent, lovely shallow sandy beach, barbeque facilities, indoor washroom and canteen facilities.

Centennial Park

Located on the Rideau Canal, off of Haskins Point Road in the stunning village of Seeley’s Bay. Playground equipment, baseball diamond with lighting, walking paths, pavilion, boat launch with docking, playground for children, canteen and washroom facility. Check out the new fitness trail brought to you by the volunteers of Seeley's Bay and local businesses who sponsored the signs!

Seeley's Bay Marina

Located in the stunning village of Seeley's Bay is the perfect location for boaters to stop and shop in the many great stores located on Main St. The dock's are located besides Centennial Park where there is a washroom facility with showers. There is also a boat launch available for public use. For more information on docking fees please contact the Recreation Coordinator.

Jerry Park
Located on the West side of the Lansdowne Community Building in the beautiful village of Lansdowne.  One full sized baseball diamond with lights, one full size baseball diamond with no lights, electronic score board and bases. New playground equipment, large open spaces, new skateboard park with concrete ramps, volleyball court multi-purpose pad equipped for tennis, basketball, roller hockey and other various recreational activities.

Furnace Falls Park

Located on Lower Beverly Lake with access to the Rideau Canal. The park is found off of Water Street by the bridge in the village of Lyndhurst. Playground equipment, dock, picnic area and boat launch.
 
Rockport Recreation Centre
Located in the village of Rockport at the Rockport Recreation Centre. The park is found at the corner of the Rockport-Escott Line and Selton Road. Playground equipment, a picnic area and access to the Thousand Islands Parkway Bike Path.

Bay of St. Lawrence Park
Located in the South/West corner of the Township. The park is found on Island Drive in the Bay of St. Lawrence Subdivision. The park is currently underdevelopment and many new facilities will be added over the next few years.  The Township was awarded $45,000 from the National Trails Council and Infrastructure Canada to expand the fitness trail.
 
Thanks to the grant we've purchased 4 additional LifeTrail Units, 6 benches, and the FABR Job Connect Program has built 2 board walks, 2 bridges and pathways to the units. Come on out and walk the fitness trail as all the improvements are now complete! *The fitness trail is closed from December 1, 2009 - April 30, 2010 for the winter season*
