Entrepreneurial Inspired Public Relations Campaign Launched

The OMFRA Rural Economic Development (RED) Grant Project, “Creating an Ecosystem for Innovative Business” continues to move forward with the next endeavour of a public relations campaign. Featured in this campaign will be a series of local entrepreneurs from the region. The goal of this campaign is to continue to share the entrepreneurial spirit that is flourishing in Gananoque and Leeds and the Thousand Islands and encourage others to join.

After a Request for Proposal was released in July 2018, Post Media was selected as the successful candidate to lead this project. The public relations campaign will consist of both article and video components. The first video will be launched online under the National Post brand on November 28th, 2018 with a corresponding article, online and in print in the National Post on December 1st, 2018. This information will be shared upon release across the Town and Township social media platforms. Additional articles and a second video will be released throughout 2019.

A major component of the project is business attraction, by recognizing existing businesses and how they have built our economic base, we can actively seek new opportunities. “We are excited to continue to showcase the amazing local businesses we have in the region,” says RED project coordinator, Laura Godard. “The Town and Township are the perfect places to enjoy having a great quality of life but also a thriving business and we want to share this information as much as we can.” Please join us in spreading these good news stories.
