The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands is on of the Southern Ontario municipalities that permits Sunday gun hunting.

The Sunday gun hunting map is updated every April 1 and September 1.

what3words is a free app that divides the world into 3-metre squares, each assigned a unique three-word address. This makes it easy to communicate your exact location to emergency responders — even from the dock, the water, or deep in the woods.

We encourage all residents and seasonal visitors to download the free what3words app, locate and save the three-word address for your dock, cottage, and any common meeting point, and share it with guests and family. It could save valuable time in an emergency.
