Medical Clinics and Health Services

  • Seeley's Bay Family Medical Centre is located at 106 Drynan Way, Suite 1, Seeley's Bay.  This centre is focused on family and community health. They are part of the Upper Canada Family Health Team.  The centre has three family doctors and a nurse practitioner.  Phone: 613-387-3120.

  • St. Lawrence District Medical Centre is located at 1012 A Prince Street, Lansdowne.  This centre has one family doctor. Phone: 613-659-2525.

  • Mallorytown Unattached Patient Clinic (UCFHT's)  is a program for unattached patients of Leeds & Grenville.  This is not a walk-in clinic and appointments are in-person.  All patients are required to make an appointment.  An OHIP card is required for an appointment.   This service is for episodic medical care for people without a family doctor, or primary care provider.  The clinic is located at 1489 County Rd.   • Brockville General Hospital is a community hospital that offers a range of services and quality compassionate care in Leeds and Grenville.  Its Emergency Department provides emergency medical care and treatment 24 hours a day, 7 days per week.  It is located at 75 Charles St., Brockville, ON.  Phone: 613-345-5649.

  • Kingston Health Sciences Centre provides care, services and supports at two different locations.
    • Kingston General Hospital is an acute-care teaching hospital affiliated with Queens University with a 24-hour emergency department. It is located at 76 Stuart Street, Kingston. Phone: 613-548-3232.
    • Hotel Dieu Hospital
      • The Urgent Care Centre (UCC) is located at 166 Brock St., Kingston and operates as an emergency walk-in clinic between 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. 365 days of the year.  The UCC is for non-life threating illnesses and injuries.  Phone:  613-546-1240.
      • Children's Outpatient Centre (COPC) is located at 144 Brock St., Kingston, ON.  The COPC is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and takes care of children who range in age from birth to 18 years.  The COPC provides  walk-in urgent care clinic for pediatric patients who have non-life threatening illnesses or injuries, as well as specialty clinics.   • Health811 provides online access to connect with a registered nurse day or night for free, help find a health service, find a family doctor or nurse practitioner, run a symptom check and even search a a medical library to learn more about a term or medical condition.  This service does not replace 911.  In a medical emergency call 911 immediately.

  • The Leeds and Grenville Health Unit offers clinics for immunizations, infant feeding, rabies vaccinations, sexual health. The Health Unit also offers health information on food safety, drinking water, emergency preparedness and mental well-being.

Social Services

The Ontario government is responsible for providing social services.  See the Social Assistance page of their website for information on income support services, such as Ontario Works and the Ontario Disability Support Program.

Senior Support Services (CPHC) provides several programs to support Seniors in the community, such as adult day services, in-home respite, foot care, home help/home maintenance, hot meals on wheels, transportation and exercise and fall prevention.  They can be reached through their website or by calling 613-342-3693, or 1-800-465-7646.

EarlyON Child and Family Centres are open for in-person programs/services.  Core programs are held in Brockville, Kemptville, Prescott and Gananoque as well as an outdoor program at Limerick Forest Interpretive Centre.  See their website for their programming schedule and locations or call 1-866-433-8933 ext. 2351.

Kids Help Phone's e-mental health services are free and available 24/7 across Canada.  You can start a confidential conversation with a real person you can trust, 1-800-668-6868 or TEXT 686868.

Ontario 211 Services connects people with the appropriate information and services to enhance Canada’s social infrastructure and enable people to fully engage in their communities. 211 is confidential, you do not have to give your name or personal details.  211 can be reached online, or by calling or texting 211.

Victim Services of Leeds & Grenville will endeavor to help reduce victim trauma by providing emotional and practical support, referrals and resources after a crime or tragedy has occurred. We will also provide a single point of entry to other programs and services within a victim’s community, assisting with navigating the system and thereby helping to reduce an individual’s sense of helplessness, confusion, and stress.  Program information can be found on their website, calling, 1-800-939-7682 or email, info@vslg.ca.

Transportation

Gananoque Wheels of Care provides transportation services for area residents who have a disability which prevents them from using other transportation services. Service hours are Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Trips can be booked 14 days in advance.  All bookings are arranged through CPHC, by calling 1-800-465-7646 ext. 2032.
