Our Medical Community
The Township is home to the St. Lawrence District Medical Centre and the Seeley's Bay Family Medical Clinic. Both medical centres are under the umbrella of the Upper Canada Family Health Team which facilitates physician and patient access to allied health professionals and programs.
Due to upcoming retirements, both medical centres are seeking to staff family physician positions.
Try Us Out - Experiential Locums
It's a big decision to move to a new area and start a new job. Both medical centres offer short duration locum placements of 1-2 months to family physicians interested in possibly making the Township a long-term career choice. It's a risk-free way to experience the local medical environment and experience our community. A housing allowance, if you choose to live in the Township during the locum, or a transportation allowance, if you are commuting to the Township, are part of the locum package.
