Transportation

Bus transportation is provided by Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (SETO) for the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario and the Upper Canada District School Board.

Youth Bursary Program

The Youth Bursary Program of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands is designed to recognize and support youth for their achievements in academics, volunteerism, leadership, and extra-curricular activities.  To be eligible applicants must reside within the Township, be graduating high school in the current year, or have graduated in the previous year and must be pursu9ing fll-time post secondary education in the same calendar year as the funds are awarded.

The program aims to celebrate the successes of youth and help them achieve their future goals. The bursary program is open to graduating Township youth or recent graduates, with the first, second, and third highest scored applications being awarded $1000, $600, and $400 respectively.  Applications will be accepted through the website in January each year and close on the last day of March.  All applications will be reviewed in April and brought forward to Council.  Youth Bursary winners will be notified via e-mail by the Corporate Services Department  and invited to attend in-person award presentation in May or June. prior to a Council meeting in The application process is open annually from January to March 31.
