Community Grants Program

The Township recognizes the valuable contributions through the efforts of community organizations and agencies on behalf of the residents of the township. 

The Community Grants program is intended to provide modest levels of support and assistance to community not-for-profit and/or charitable organizations.  The goal of the community grants policy is to treat all groups fairly and share resources as effectively and efficiently as possible.  

Eligibility

• Applicants must be community, not-for profit, and or charitable community organizations
• Be located in, and conduct the majority of their activities/business within the geographical borders of the Township; and/or majority of the membership falls within the municipal borders.

Application Intake and Deadlines

• First Friday in April, and
• First Friday in September.

Note:  Corporate Services will call a Grant Review Committee who will review all applications.  The review and recommendations report will then go to Council for approval.
