Construction Waste & Commercial Waste
Attention: Contractors & Commercial Businesses
- Waste disposal sites in the Township are only intended for residential household waste
- Contractors are not permitted to dispose of construction materials
- Commercial and Industrial entities are not permitted to use the sites for waste generated in the course of business
Contractors and businesses are required to use other disposal options, such as Waste Management in Brockville or Waste Connections of Canada in Kingston.
D-I-Y Residential Renovation Waste
- Renovating or updating your home? Township residential property owners are permitted to dispose of small Do-It-Yourself (DIY) renovation waste at all three disposal sites
- Loads may include shingles, ceramic tiles, drywall, carpet, laminate flooring, toilets, cabinets, counter tops, etc.
- Any items that are recyclable are free and must be sorted separately (e.g., steel doors, rebar, metal framing)
A single axle truck or trailer load is $130 (max 3 cu. meters or 8ft x 5ft x 3ft ft). A half load is $65 (1.5 cu. meters or 4ft x 2.5ft x 1.5ft)
Double axle truck or trailer loads exceeding 3 cu. meters are not accepted at Township waste disposal sites.

- Lansdowne Freshmart, 3 King Street, W, Lansdowne
- Lyndhurst Home Hardware, 397 Lyndhurst Road, Lyndhurst
Eligibility Checklist
- Are you a resident of residential property owner in the Township? Waste disposal sites are for household waste generated from Township residential property owners/residents only.
- Are you prepared to show proof of residency at the waste site?
- Have you separated your recyclables from construction waste?
- Is the waste less than 3 cubic meters in size?
