Burn Permit Renewal

All residents are required to obtain a free Open-Air Burn Permit to conduct any burning within the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands.  Permits must be renewed each year after January 1.

Household Garbage Bag Tags

All household waste must be in clear bags and tagged with a bag tag. Bag tags are sold in books of 10 for $20.

Bag tags, also known as a bag label, must be purchased before visiting the waste disposal site.

They can be purchased at the Township office, 1233 Prince Street, Lansdowne, or at one of the following businesses:

Large single items can be disposed of with the purchase of a $15 Large Item Disposal Ticket.
