Permanent Full-Time Chief Building Official - Competition No. 2026-03

The Township is seeking an individual to join our team in the full-time position of Chief Building Official.

Reporting to the Director of Planning and Development, the Chief Building Official is responsible for providing leadership for the general administration of building services for the Township.

Qualifications include post-secondary education in construction inspection techniques, Engineering or Architectural Technologist, and membership with the Ontario Building Official Association, with current BCIN and CBCO designation.

The salary range for this position is $98,753 to $111,129, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Township offers a comprehensive benefits package and participation in the OMERS pension plan. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Director of Operations and Infrastructure, Permanent Full-Time  - Competition No. 2026-04

The Township is seeking an individual to join our team in the full-time position of Director of Operations and Infrastructure.

Reporting to the Chief Administration Officer, the Director of Operations and Infrastructure provides the overall strategic leadership, administration and operation of the Public Works portfolio.  The Director of Operations and Infrastructure will demonstrate a high degree of integrity and maintain and project an image of trust and public service. This position requires excellent communication and public relations skills. This position is responsible for leading the Operations and Infrastructure department, including strategic planning, leadership, management and administration of a broad portfolio including all municipal infrastructure, roads, parks, facilities, fleet maintenance, capital projects, water and wastewater, municipal drains and waste management.

A Degree in Civil Engineering and registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with the Professional Engineers of Ontario is required.

The salary range for this position is $137,082 to $154,318 commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Township offers a comprehensive benefits package and participation in the OMERS pension plan. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
