Ontario Senior of the Year Award Nomination - Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands
The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands will take nominations from the community for the annual Ontario Senior of the Year Award.
Nominations can be completed online using the Ontario Senior of the Year Award nomination form
Hard copy nomination forms are available at the Township administrative building, 1233 Prince St, Lansdowne, or at any of the Leeds Thousand Islands libraries.
Weight Restrictions on Township Roads
Due to fluctuating temperatures, weight restrictions on Township roads take effect on March 2, 2026.
These half-load restrictions help maintain the Township's road network and infrastructure.
Depending on spring temperatures and weather conditions, half-loads may be lifted sooner than the usual May 15 end date.
