The Township is fortunate to have the means to offer a variety of Grant Programs to community groups, local organizations and eligible Township residents.

On March 13, 2023, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands approved a Cemetery Grant Policy.

Cemetery grans applications will be received once per year with a deadline of March 31st.

The Township recognizes the valuable contributions through the efforts of community organizations and agencies on behalf of the residents of the township.

The Community Grants program is intended to provide modest levels of support and assistance to community not-for-profit and/or charitable organizations.  The goal of the community grants policy is to treat all groups fairly and share resources as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Applications are received twice per year,

  • First Friday in April, and
  • First Friday in September.

For more information and to apply visit the Community Grants Program page.
