The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville in a Joint Agreement with Brockville, Prescott and Gananoque welcomes its fifth new primary care physician to the region.
Mayor Smith-Gatcke received the First Poppy of 2026 from Seeley’s Bay Royal Canadian Legion Branch #491 President Martin Hankes-Drielsma in Council Chambers today. The First Poppy presentation marks the official start of the Poppy Campaign, honouring veterans.
Flags at the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Municipal Buildings are flying at half-mast in honour of those affected by the tragedy at Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Wainwright in east-central Alberta.

KEMPTVILLE — Steve Clark, MPP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes, announced today that the Ontario government is investing $187,500 through the Preventing Auto Thefts (PAT) Grant Program to support Grenville County OPP in the fight against auto theft.
