Flags Lowered toHalf-Mast | February 12, 2026
The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands has lowered its flags to half-mast today and until sunset on February 17, 2026, to mark the tragedy which occurred in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, on February 10, 2026.
On behalf of Council and staff, we extend our deepest condolences to the families, the school and the entire community affected by these tragic events. Our thoughts are with each one of you.
