National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

Today, we honour the memory of the 14 young women whose lives were tragically taken at l'Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal on December 6, 1989. This serves as a reminder of the ongoing need to address and prevent gender-based violence in all its forms.

Let us come together to reflect, remember, and recommit to creating a safer and more equitable society for all women and girls. Together, we can take meaningful action to end violence and support survivors.
