Residents of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands are required to take their household garbage to one of three waste disposal sites. Each bag must be tagged with a purchased label. We are fortunate to partner with local businesses who sell bag tags for us.
To our existing vendors, thank you! You are providing a valuable service to our residents. There is a change in process starting in May for a six month trial period. With your payment in advance, the Township will deliver tags to your business every second Wednesday of the month. If you prefer to continue to pick up your tags from the Township office, payment is due at that time.
