(Lansdowne) – The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands celebrated the groundbreaking to start construction of a new Fire Station #2 in Seeley’s Bay. Mayor Smith-Gatcke welcomed MPP Steve Clark, Council members, TLTI firefighters, Township staff, and the public to the event. Also attending was a representative from JCB Canada Inc. who are tasked with constructing the building.

April is Oral Health Month and the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is promoting the theme: “We are stronger together”. It is a team approach to help maintain a child’s oral hygiene, from the child, parent/guardian, dental professionals, and public health.
