TLTI has issued a Special Event Permit to the Ontario Cycling Association for their Lansdowne Classic Road Race event, taking place in Lansdowne on May 11, 2024.

(Lansdowne) – The Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands celebrated the groundbreaking to start construction of a new Fire Station #2 in Seeley’s Bay. Mayor Smith-Gatcke welcomed MPP Steve Clark, Council members, TLTI firefighters, Township staff, and the public to the event. Also attending was a representative from JCB Canada Inc. who are tasked with constructing the building.

April is Oral Health Month and the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is promoting the theme: “We are stronger together”. It is a team approach to help maintain a child’s oral hygiene, from the child, parent/guardian, dental professionals, and public health. We all have an important role to play and are all on the same team with the same common goal: to ensure every child has the best oral health they can have!
