For the week of December 24, 2018

This week the Administration office will close at noon on December 24th and reopen at 9 a.m. on December 27th. The Waste sites will close at noon on December 24th and both Lyndhurst and Lansdowne sites will reopen on December 27th.

As 2018 draws to a close, Council and staff extend a heartfelt thank you to the many committee members that met throughout the year. Our committee and community volunteers make our Township great!

If you would like to volunteer with TLTI, consider applying for one of the following committees: Municipal Heritage, Economic Development, Environmental Advisory, Committee of Adjustment, Library Board, and Internet Broadband Advisory Committee. Apply online or in person at the Administration office. Deadline is January 4th.

The Fire Chief reminds residents to stay off lakes, rivers and streams. Ice surfaces may look solid, but current, temperature, and wind can affect the ice quality.

Registration for archery, fencing, and cooking programs has opened online. Visit and click “Recreation and Leisure Programs” to register.

Reminder to residents, the Winter Parking bylaw is in effect. Parking is not permitted on streets or roadways between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.

The Christmas Bird Count for Kids event is taking place on December 29th from 1 to 3 p.m. at Landon Bay Centre.

In 2019, Seeley’s Bay Frost Fest is celebrating 25 years! Come, join us and celebrate winter on Feb 1st to 3rd. If you would like to volunteer with the Frost Fest committee, check out their Facebook page a @SeeleysBayFrostFest.
