Leeds and the Thousand Islands’ COVID-19 Preparedness – Media Release #1

March 12, 2020, Lansdowne, ON – The Township of Leeds and the Thousand is following information on the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) that is shared by the Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit. Information shared by the Health Unit is updated daily, and comes from a credible source.

 

The Emergency Operations Centre staff are closely monitoring updates from the local Health Unit and are prepared should a response be required.

In the meantime, the Township is continuing with its scheduled programs and events in response to COVID-19. However, this situation is very fluid, and circumstances may change. In the event that we will need to change, postpone or cancel any of our programs, we will communicate changes immediately through regular communication channels.
