The flags at the Township office will be flying at half-mast for this evening and into the weekend for National Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace on April 28th. On this day, we remember all those who suffered a workplace death, injury or illness. We also recommit ourselves to protecting workers and preventing further workplace tragedies.

Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Service Disruption Notice: Temporary Road Closure - Marble Rock Road

  • No through traffic from Cty Rd #32 east to civic address 307.
  • From Cty Rd #34 westerly local traffic only.

There is a temporary closure due to downed utility line.

Cataraqui Conservation Extends Watershed Conditions| Water Safety for Inland Lakes and Streams

Kingston – Cataraqui Conservation has extended its Watershed Conditions Statement – Water Safety today due to elevated water levels on some inland lakes, higher than average discharge rates at water control structures, and more rain in the forecast. Residents and visitors to the Cataraqui Region should exercise caution around water bodies.

Weather Situation:
Approximately 4 to 9 mm of rain fell throughout the Cataraqui Region watershed April 23 and 24. Another 9 to 26 mm+ of rain is expected...
