To help maintain the Township's road network and infrastructure, weight restrictions are imposed at certain times for roads in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands.
As per By-law #01-014, seasonal half load restrictions are in effect from February 15 to May 15 each year.
We recognize that sometimes the movement of heavy or oversize loads may be required. If you need to transport an oversize load, a permit from the Township is required.
