Notice of Public Meeting - Private Road Naming of Scenic View Lane (Currently 51-53 Front St)

Take notice that the Council of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, at a meeting on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Lansdowne Office, 1233 Prince Street and virtually through zoom will consider a by-law to name a private lane. The proposed name is Scenic View Lane. The private lane is located off Front St and is currently addressed as 51-53 Front St.

Sand Available

Sand is now available for public use at the following locations:

• 1233 Prince Street, Lansdowne
• 312 Lyndhurst Road, Lyndhurst

Please note the following guidelines:

• Sand is limited to 2-5 gallon (20 litre) pails or bins per household.
• Bring your container. A shovel will be provided on-site for your convenience.

This service is aimed to assisting the public with winter safety. Thank you for using it responsibly.
