Daylight savings time ends November 1st ! Remember to change your clocks and check the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors.

Cooler nights mean wood stoves and furnaces will be used once again! The Fire Chief reminds residents and cottagers these appliances require cleaning and maintenance for safe operation.

During the month of October, libraries and library partners across Canada have been raising awareness of the valuable role libraries play in Canadians’ lives.

The Thousand Islands Playhouse, in sponsorship with Gan Chev, is presenting Reverse Halloween and TLTI is taking part! Staff and volunteers will be dressing in costume and delivering pre-packaged bags of candy to Gananoque and TLTI children on October 31. Register for Reverse Halloween by October 27, 2020.   

Please drive with extra care on Halloween when little ghosts and goblins are travelling through our neighbourhoods.
