The Township has received four applications for road closing and sale which will be considered by Council on the September 8, 2025 Council meeting. The applications for consideration are:
T09-2025-001 - 242 Berryton Road (Lot 6, Concession 6 and 7, Former Township of Rear of Leeds and Lansdowne)

Service Disruption | Centennial Park - Park Closure

Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands Service Disruption Notice:
Temporary Park Closure of Centennial Park, Seeley's Bay.
There is a scheduled closure to accommodate park improvements.
Closed: Monday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 12, 2025.
Anticipated re-opening Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

Notice of Public Meeting - Zoning By-Law Amendment Applications D14-2025-006 and D14-2025-007

Take notice that the Council of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at 6:00 pm. The meeting will be to consider the following applications for amendment.

Zoning By-law Amendment Application D14-2025-007 - 104 1000 Islands Parkway

Leeds Fire Issues Full Burn Ban | August 5, 2025

Leeds Fire has issued a Level 5 FULL Burn Ban in effect in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, due to the dry conditions.
No open-air burning of brush piles, incinerators, or burn barrels, effective immediately and until the ban is lifted.
All open-air burning including campfires, cooking fires and fireworks is prohibited at this time; appliances equipped with a shut off mechanism are still permitted (i.e. propane fueled BBQ),
