During the spring thaw, the road crew maintains the Township roads while working within the restrictions of weather.
Fluctuating temperatures, frost, and rain all play pivotal roles in the work we can perform on the roads. Grading the roads in current conditions requires light scraping to assist with drying out the base, while lightly filling in potholes, without digging too deeply into the road base....
