Anyone may request a tax certificate if the request is submitted in writing and the appropriate fee is paid. The Municipal Act, 2001, section 352, authorizes the Treasurer or delegate to issue a Tax Certificate. 352 (1) The treasurer shall, upon the written request of any person, give to that person an itemized statement of all amounts owing for taxes in respect of any separately assessed rateable property as of the day the statement is issued. |
