Township Escott and Lansdowne Waste Sites | Closed December 12, 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Township Waste Sites in Escott and Lansdowne will be closed to the public on December 12th, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a staff event. The waste sites will re-open to the public at 2:00 p.m.

Delay in opening of new Health Unit location in Kemptville

The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit’s new delivery site at the Kemptville Campus has experienced a delay in the renovations and will not be able to open to the public on November 29th as originally promoted. An opening date will be announced when confirmed.

The Health Unit will continue to reduce disruption of services as much as possible.

Maple View Lodge Redevelopment Fundraising Committee Celebrates Campaign’s Halfway Mark

Counties Council received an abundance of good news during November’s meeting. The Chair of the Maple View Lodge Redevelopment Fundraising Committee, Doug Struthers, announced the Committee has officially surpassed the halfway mark of its $3 million fundraising goal. Campaign contributions thus far total $1,546,112.
