In our Township planning fees are applied to the following:
- Consent Application
- Minor Variance
- Official Plan Amendment to County Plan
- Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-Law Amendment to Township Documents
- Plan of Subdivision or Plan of Condominium
- Site Plan Approval - new
- Site Plan Approval Amendment
- Zoning By-law Amendment - only
Your project may result in additional fees if additional expenses are incurred.
Note on Township Fees:
- Township fees reduced by 50% if submitted as condition of approval to consent application. Site plan and development agreement fees also reduced by 50% if a condition of variance or zoning amendment. These reductions only apply to Minor Variance, Official Plan and Zoning By-law Amendments, Site Plan Approval and Development Agreements.
- Fees to Township are non-refundable.
- Costs to register documents on title, provide notice in the paper, or additional costs incurred by the Township (e.g., peer review, legal advice, etc.) are at the expense of the owner.
- If a person other than the applicant appeals decision to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT), the applicant shall pay all additional costs incurred by the Township. The Board fee of $300 is payable to the LPAT by the appellant.
- Separate cheques shall be made payable to the appropriate agency.
